Vital Youth Team Player Sponsorship - Ward

12th December 2010

Many thanks to all the supporters that took part in the recent ebay auction for the signed framed AFCB shirt.

35 bids were made and the eventual winner was Garbo (Adrian Williams in real life!), thanks and congratulations go to him.

The money raised went towards the afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk sponsorship of 1st year youth team player, Elliot Ward.

Adrian presented the payment directly to Elliot before the Hartlepool game as pictured.

Thanks again to the match sponsors of the Torquay Johnstone's Paint Trophy game who, very generously, donated the prize.

Now in its 2nd season, the afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk Youth team player donation scheme has raised the full 1600 sponsorship for Youth team captain, Dan Strugnell and now with this latest boost, 740 for Elliot Ward.

It`s not too late to join in and pledge towards this scheme, should you wish to contribute or require further information, please contact me through PM on this site or email zzzzzzafcb@hotmail.co.uk

Both Dan and Elliot have agreed to provide a Christmas 'season review to date` so look out for that in the near future.

24th August 2010

We recently announced that the AFCB Vital fan donation scheme had raised the 1,600 required to fully sponsor 2nd year youth team player, Dan Strugnell.

Since that time the money has still been coming in, currently there is 500 pledged in excess of the 1,600 committed to Dan, so we've chosen 1st year youth team player, Elliott Ward, to receive this.

Elliott is a 16 year old midfield player from Poole. Supporters who made the trip to Dorchester for the pre-season friendly would remember what a starring role he played in that game, scoring 2 goals.

Any further money that is received during the season will be paid to Elliott.

Should you wish to donate to Elliott's sponsorship please contact myself (zzzzzz) or DJ via PM on this site or email zzzzzzafcb@hotmail.co.uk.

The first chance to see our young team in competitive league action is at home this coming Saturday (28th August), we play Plymouth Argyle, kick off is at 11.00am.
