Cherries Count On Vital Support Once Again

For the fifth consecutive season, AFC Bournemouth's supporters' coach travel will be sponsored by afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk.

Ensuring Cherries fans have had the option to take official coach travel to every away game since 2010, afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk has financially supported the travel club from the bottom of League Two to the heights of the Sky Bet Championship.

The Cherries have some long trips in August, including Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town, before a gruelling season which will take in more than 10,000 miles of Britain's roads.

But the supporters' website's backing means at least one coach will travel to every away league and cup game throughout the season, a service AFC Bournemouth is delighted to provide.

Cherries commercial director Rob Mitchell said, "Our best and most successful partnerships are the ones that were conceived when we were at the foot of the Football League, and have now blossomed during our climb to the second tier.

"afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk have been with us every step of the way and I am absolutely delighted to have them on board for a further season.

"No one at the club underestimates the importance of our vocal away following, least of all Eddie Howe who praises it time and time again, and if this partnership can go some way to helping that then it is a very valuable one!"

Dave Jennings of afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk said, "Whilst AFC Bournemouth have certainly moved on as a football club since we first agreed the travel coaches` sponsorship, it is great to know that the relationship between the club and the Cherries largest supporters` website is still going strong.

"It might seem a long time ago now, but before this sponsorship deal was previously agreed during the League Two days, Cherries fans were not guaranteed that a supporters coach would travel to every game, often cancelled at very short notice.

"Going into our fifth season of sponsorship, supporters can continue to book a seat on the coach with full confidence that the coach will be making its way to every game and that`s something we remain immensely proud of at afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk.

"The fact that the coaches are now travelling to the likes of Fulham and Norwich instead of Rochdale and Dagenham, just adds an added enjoyment to supporting AFC Bournemouth up and down the country this season."

A full list of prices and departure times for the afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk sponsored supporters` coaches will be announced shortly on afcb.co.uk.

Season ticket holders are able to enjoy a 20% discount on places on the coaches which are once again supplied by Excelsior Coaches Limited, whose fleet of luxury vehicles ensure that travelling by coach is the most comfortable and convenient way for supporters to get to the match.

Supporters` travel is open to Cherries supporters of all ages, although those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. A club appointed steward travels on board each coach to maintain a safe travelling environment at all times. No alcohol is permitted on board the coaches.

Tickets and coach places can be purchased from the ticket office at the Goldsands Stadium 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4pm on Saturdays and 10am-3pm on Sundays. They can also be booked over the phone by calling 0844 576 1910.

Vital support for supporters coaches

AFC Bournemouth have announced AFCB Vital's sponsorship of the Supporters Coaches will continue into a fourth season.

AFC Bournemouth supporters will travel more than 1,000 miles next week to back their team thanks to afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk.

The Cherries hit the road for their two latest Championship fixtures at Huddersfield and Doncaster either side of a Capital One Cup second round tie at Watford, and the fans` website`s backing means at least one coach will travel to every away league and cup game this season.

The sponsorship enabled supporters to follow Eddie Howe`s team up and down the country as they completed a historic promotion from League One last term.

And they will be visiting some of the country`s most famous grounds over the next nine months, including Elland Road, the City Ground and Loftus Road as the clubs competes in the second tier for the first time in more than 20 years.

"This is a really exciting season for everyone associated with the club and we have some great away trips to look forward to," Cherries commercial director Rob Mitchell said.

"I would like to thank afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk for their continued support and helping fans get to games and behind the team because I know the players and coaching staff appreciate it.

"In the four seasons they have sponsored the supporters` coaches we have had great success on the pitch and I`m sure this season will be just as memorable."

afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk administrator Dave Jennings added, 'When the fans` website first agreed a sponsorship package with the club three years ago, the one key aspect of the coach sponsorship was to guarantee that at least one supporters coach would be travelling to every single league and cup match as during previous seasons this was not always the case.

"Having a guaranteed service for fans who would otherwise have no means of transport to get to games and support the team around the country is fantastic.'

'We have been delighted with how popular the supporters coaches have been with fans over the last few years and we hope this will continue into a fourth season."

A full list of prices and departure times for the afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk sponsored supporters` coaches will be announced shortly.

Tickets and coach places can be purchased from the ticket office at the Goldsands Stadium in person 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4pm on Saturdays and 11am-4pm on Sundays. They can also be booked over the phone on 0844 576 1910.

Thursday 1st August 2013

We are still awaiting the full list of prices for this seasons travel coaches. But we are proud to confirm that our sponsorship will continue for 2013/14.

afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk are proud to once again support the AFC Bournemouth Club Travel.

This will be the third successive season that the Cherries fans website will sponsor the travel club, guaranteeing travel to every away league and cup fixture in the upcoming campaign, including the long trips to Carlisle and Hartlepool, as well as the short visits to Yeovil and Portsmouth.

Last season hundreds of supporters travelled up and down the country to cheer on the Cherries, and saw the side go 11 games unbeaten on the road between September and January.

AFC Bournemouth commercial director Rob Mitchell said...

'It`s fantastic that AFCB Vital have got behind us again and sponsored two parts of the club that really matter to supporters.

'Our supporters travel a lot of miles over the course of the season and they`re a real credit to the club, but it wouldn`t be possible without the support of AFCB Vital.'

Dave Jennings from afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk said...

'Being able to guarantee that at least one supporters coach will be travelling to every single league and cup match this season is a vital part to the sponsorship package that we have agreed with the club, and we`re very proud that this will continue into a third season.

This season, season ticket holders will also receive 20% off all Supporters Travel trips.

To book on the coaches, call in to the AFC Bournemouth Club Store or call 0844 576 1910, using a credit/debit card.

AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce that the partnership between the AFC Bournemouth Travel Club and the fans website afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk will continue for a second season.

Last season`s Travel Club was a huge success thanks to the sponsorship which helped to guarantee travel to every away game and played a big part in helping the Cherries to average the fifth largest travelling support in the whole of League One.

Following that success AFC Bournemouth and afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk were keen to renew this partnership that once again guarantees that at least one supporters coach will travel to every league and cup away fixture throughout the 2011/12 season.

AFC Bournemouth player-assistant manager Steve Fletcher said...

"Time and time again last season we attributed our performances to the fans, but there is no doubt about it, they are our twelfth man out on the pitch.

"They were magnificent at home and travelled in their numbers away, and the players appreciated it massively.

"We've gone from having a relatively southern league, to a very, very northern one this season, and we will need the supporters more than ever.

"The support from Dave Jennings and AFCB Vital is imperative in keeping the coaches travelling to away matches rain or shine.

"It is great to know that we have a fan-base that will follow us up and down the country, and we look forward to seeing some new faces this season."

Dave Jennings from AFCB Vital added...

"AFCB Vital were very proud to be associated with the Travel Club last season and were delighted when it proved to be very popular amongst supporters."

"Being able to guarantee at least one coach would be travelling to every game was very important because this hadn't been the case in previous seasons. Having that guarantee enables those fans who would otherwise have no means of travel to get to games and support the team around the country and it is fantastic that this will continue next season."

Coaches will again be supplied by AFC Bournemouth's travel partner, Excelsior Coaches Limited, whose fleet of luxury vehicles ensure that travelling by coach is the most comfortable and convenient way for supporters to get to the match.

Supporters Travel is open to Cherries supporters of all ages although those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. A club appointed Steward travels on board each coach to maintain a safe travelling environment at all times. No alcohol is permitted on board the coaches.

AFCB Vital have sponsored the AFC Bournemouth Club Travel to enable the Cherries Board to guarantee that a supporters coach will travel to every AFC Bournemouth away game throughout the 2010/11 season.

Over the last couple of seasons there has been uncertainty over the travel coaches, with late cancellations upsetting many supporters.

AFCB Vital held discussions with the football club for many months and the club have now announced the fantastic news that a supporters coach will travel to every game this season.

Discussing the announcement, Cherries director Steve Sly said...

'It has always been the intention of the board to provide affordable coach travel but of equal importance, a guaranteed service. When Eddie (Howe) and the players see our supporters at away games it can`t help but give them a huge lift.'

'We are guaranteeing the coach travel this season, but now with this new sponsorship deal in place, it has enabled us to set our tariff for the entire season.'

'The board would very much like to thank Dave Jennings and all at AFCB VITAL and look forward to seeing many regular and new faces using the travel club safe in the knowledge that coaches will not be cancelled.'

Coaches will again be supplied by AFC Bournemouth's travel partner, Excelsior Coaches Limited, whose fleet of luxury vehicles ensure that travelling by coach is the most comfortable and convenient way for supporters to get to the match.

Supporters Travel is open to Cherries supporters of all ages although those under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A club appointed Steward travels on board each coach to maintain a safe travelling environment at all times. No alcohol is permitted on board the coaches.
