'AFCB Vital' Travel Coaches

afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk are proud to support the AFC Bournemouth Club Travel.

Tuesday 17th July 2012

afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk are proud to once again support the AFC Bournemouth Club Travel.

This will be the third successive season that the Cherries fans website will sponsor the travel club, guaranteeing travel to every away league and cup fixture in the upcoming campaign, including the long trips to Carlisle and Hartlepool, as well as the short visits to Yeovil and Portsmouth.

Last season hundreds of supporters travelled up and down the country to cheer on the Cherries, and saw the side go 11 games unbeaten on the road between September and January.

AFC Bournemouth commercial director Rob Mitchell said...

'It`s fantastic that AFCB Vital have got behind us again and sponsored two parts of the club that really matter to supporters.

'Our supporters travel a lot of miles over the course of the season and they`re a real credit to the club, but it wouldn`t be possible without the support of AFCB Vital.'

Dave Jennings from afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk said...

'Being able to guarantee that at least one supporters coach will be travelling to every single league and cup match this season is a vital part to the sponsorship package that we have agreed with the club, and we`re very proud that this will continue into a third season.

This season, season ticket holders will also receive 20% off all Supporters Travel trips.

To book on the coaches, call in to the AFC Bournemouth Club Store or call 0844 576 1910, using a credit/debit card.

The coaches depart from Dean Court.

AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce that the partnership between the AFC Bournemouth Travel Club and the fans website afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk will continue for a second season.

Last season`s Travel Club was a huge success thanks to the sponsorship which helped to guarantee travel to every away game and played a big part in helping the Cherries to average the fifth largest travelling support in the whole of League One.

Following that success AFC Bournemouth and afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk were keen to renew this partnership that once again guarantees that at least one supporters coach will travel to every league and cup away fixture throughout the 2011/12 season.

AFC Bournemouth player-assistant manager Steve Fletcher said...

"Time and time again last season we attributed our performances to the fans, but there is no doubt about it, they are our twelfth man out on the pitch.

"They were magnificent at home and travelled in their numbers away, and the players appreciated it massively.

"We've gone from having a relatively southern league, to a very, very northern one this season, and we will need the supporters more than ever.

"The support from Dave Jennings and AFCB Vital is imperative in keeping the coaches travelling to away matches rain or shine.

"It is great to know that we have a fan-base that will follow us up and down the country, and we look forward to seeing some new faces this season."

Dave Jennings from AFCB Vital added...

"AFCB Vital were very proud to be associated with the Travel Club last season and were delighted when it proved to be very popular amongst supporters."

"Being able to guarantee at least one coach would be travelling to every game was very important because this hadn't been the case in previous seasons. Having that guarantee enables those fans who would otherwise have no means of travel to get to games and support the team around the country and it is fantastic that this will continue next season."

Coaches will again be supplied by AFC Bournemouth's travel partner, Excelsior Coaches Limited, whose fleet of luxury vehicles ensure that travelling by coach is the most comfortable and convenient way for supporters to get to the match.

Supporters Travel is open to Cherries supporters of all ages although those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. A club appointed Steward travels on board each coach to maintain a safe travelling environment at all times. No alcohol is permitted on board the coaches.

AFCB Vital have sponsored the AFC Bournemouth Club Travel to enable the Cherries Board to guarantee that a supporters coach will travel to every AFC Bournemouth away game throughout the 2010/11 season.

Over the last couple of seasons there has been uncertainty over the travel coaches, with late cancellations upsetting many supporters.

AFCB Vital held discussions with the football club for many months and the club have now announced the fantastic news that a supporters coach will travel to every game this season.

Discussing the announcement, Cherries director Steve Sly said...

'It has always been the intention of the board to provide affordable coach travel but of equal importance, a guaranteed service. When Eddie (Howe) and the players see our supporters at away games it can`t help but give them a huge lift.'

'We are guaranteeing the coach travel this season, but now with this new sponsorship deal in place, it has enabled us to set our tariff for the entire season.'

'The board would very much like to thank Dave Jennings and all at AFCB VITAL and look forward to seeing many regular and new faces using the travel club safe in the knowledge that coaches will not be cancelled.'

Coaches will again be supplied by AFC Bournemouth's travel partner, Excelsior Coaches Limited, whose fleet of luxury vehicles ensure that travelling by coach is the most comfortable and convenient way for supporters to get to the match.

Supporters Travel is open to Cherries supporters of all ages although those under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A club appointed Steward travels on board each coach to maintain a safe travelling environment at all times. No alcohol is permitted on board the coaches.
