Norwegian international Josh King joined Manchester United from Vålerenga in 2008 when he turned 16.

He made his Manchester United debut in the League Cup as an 81st minutes substitute against Wolves in September 2009.

In 2010 he made 10 appearances on loan with Preston North End in the Championship.

He began the following season in Germany's second tier with Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he made two appearances before joining Hull.

King made 19 appearances for Hull, including 18 league appearances in the Championship.

During this period King represented his country at all levels, from Under 15's, Under 16's, Under 18's, Under 19's, Under 21's and full international, making his debut against Iceland in September 2012. His first international goal came against Cyprus just one month later.

In November 2012 he made his second and final appearance for Manchester United, this time as a 85th minute substitute against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

He then joined Blackburn Rovers, initially on loan before making the deal permanent in January 2013.

In total he made 74 appearances for Blackburn before turning down a contract offer and agreeing a three year deal at Dean Court in May 2015.
