afcb.vitalfootball.co.uk and The Friends of Pokesdown have come together to sponsor AFC Bournemouth defender Tim Stephenson's home kit for the 2010/11 season.

As part of the Youth Team sponsorship scheme on this sites message board, Tim Stephenson became the first player to benefit from the donation scheme during the 2009/10 season.

Despite suffering a knee injury which kept him out of the youth set up and reserves teams for long periods in 2009/10, Stephenson impressed Cherries management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall enough to be offered his first professional contract and signed a 12 month deal during the summer of 2010.

With Stephenson successfully making the step up from Joe Roach's AFC Bournemouth Youth Team to the first team squad, AFCB Vital and The Friends of Pokesdown wanted to continue their connection with Stephenson and have done so by sponsoring him for the 2010/11 season.

After 18 months of injuries Stephenson was released in January 2012.
