AFC Bournemouth vs. Leyton Orient

Dean Court

13th October 2012

3pm

Old faces return

AFC Bournemouth return to the Goldsands Stadium following two back-to-back away defeats to Crawley and Coventry.

Cherries first team coach Dennis Rofe will continue his temporary stint as caretaker manager for this game despite mounting speculation regarding a return for former management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall.

The game will also see some old faces return to the south coast since their summer departure. Michael Symes and Mathieu Baudry both joined Leyton Orient following the end of their contracts at Dean Court.

Vital Quotes:

Rofe told afcb.co.uk...

"We have had a good week. I went to see Orient on Tuesday and they are a typical Russell Slade side, full of energy and effort. We know we are going to have to be on our game to get a result.

'I started my career at Orient and have many fond memories, but on Saturday, we are determined to send them back with nothing."

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Long term absentees Darryl Flahavan, Stephen Purches and Charlie Sheringham remain out.

Simon Francis made a shock return to the first team at Coventry and will be in contention, while Dutch striker Frank Demouge has returned to training following his concussion at Crawley.

Player to watch: Charlie Daniels

Former Leyton Orient left back Charlie Daniels comes up against his former side for only the second time since his move to the Cherries eleven months ago.

Daniels made 175 appearances for Orient between 2007 and 2011 and was a fan favourite before he moved to AFC Bournemouth.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Leyton Orient striker Kevin Lisbie is expected to miss the next month with a hamstring injury.

Defender Ben Chorley will return following his one game suspension while Mathieu Baudry and Michael Symes both played in their mid-week Paint Pot game against Barnet and could feature.

Player to watch: Michael Symes

Michael Symes scored 11 goals for the Cherries during his two year spell at Dean Court and has already got off the mark for his new club scoring in only his second appearance Tranmere.

That remains his only goal after nine appearances in all competitions.
