After calls for Paul Groves sacking over the weekend, the Cherries manager remains in the hot seat as AFC Bournemouth face back to back away matches, starting with Crawley on Tuesday night.
AFC Bournemouth's only victory of the season came away from Dean Court at Yeovil and Groves hopes that the pressure of playing away will help his side rediscover its form.
Groves told BBC Radio Solent...
'It may help us playing away from home. The performances away from home have been good, apart from Swindon.
'You've got to be competitive away from home, which we weren't at Swindon.
'You have to play and cannot get embroiled in being direct. We've got to go to Crawley and be brave and get the ball down and play and finish off our opportunities because we are more than capable of creating.'
Former AFC Bournemouth captain Shaun Cooper misses out for new club Crawley with a groin problem.
The versatile midfielder turned down a contract offer with the Cherries during the summer to make the move to the newly promoted League One side.
Defender Kyle McFadzean is also a doubt with a hip injury.
Former Cherries loanee Nathan Byrne joined Crawley on loan from Tottenham last week. He made his debut against Premier League side Swansea in their 3-2 League Cup defeat and scored on his league debut against Carlisle on Saturday.
Long term absentees Simon Francis, Stephen Purches, Charlie Sheringham and Darryl Flahavan remain on the sidelines, whilst Richard Hughes remains doubtful but could be in contention for a return.
AFC Bournemouth's record signing returns to Broadfield for the first time since his £800,000 move to Dean Court in January.
During his season and a half at Crawley, Tubbs scored 58 goals in 78 appearances.
This will be the first time that AFC Bournemouth and Crawley Town have ever played each other.
6th October 2012, Coventry City V AFC Bournemouth, 3pm.
