Yeovil vs. AFC Bournemouth

Huish Park

8th September 2012

3pm

Hunt for first win continues @ Yeovil

The Cherries are yet to record a victory this season, with three draws and one defeat during the opening four games of the League One campaign.

AFC Bournemouth have also been knocked out of both the League Cup and the Football League Trophy after penalty shoot-out defeats to both Oxford United and Portsmouth.

Paul Groves Cherries side showed potential against Portsmouth, but will need to turn performances into results to quieten down murmurs of discontent amongst some sections of the Cherries supporters.

Meanwhile Yeovil have started the season well, they currently sit second in the League One table with 3 wins and a draw from their opening League One games of the season.

Vital Quotes:

AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves told BBC Radio Solent...

'The players recognise they are improving. They recognise they are a young group of players and that they are getting better after only a couple of games.

'They are getting fitter and stronger they are getting more competitive and gaining more understanding.

'Yeovil have had a good start, they are going to face us at the weekend and I feel we will give them a difficult game for sure. We've been playing well and I think we can go there with confidence.
