AFC Bournemouth will continue to search for their first win of the season away to League One promotion hopefuls Sheffield United.
The home side, like the Cherries, are undefeated this season following two draws and one victory.
AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves told afcb.co.uk...
"This will be a benchmark for us to show how far we have come since the game at Bramall Lane in April. Looking back at the first half of the game, it was a tough encounter and it took time for some of the players to adjust themselves to playing in a game like that.
'You always know that when you go to Bramall Lane and play Sheffield United, it`s going to be tough. We can draw from the experience we had at Portsmouth on the opening day of the season where the players had to be strong in a very difficult atmosphere for them.
'We can also draw on the experiences of last weekend when we were down to ten men for an hour. That is difficult for any team, but we dug in and we need to show the same characteristics on a consistent basis."
Chris Porter remains out injured for Sheffield United, while defender Darryl Westlake could be set for a return.
Richard Cresswell has re-negotiated his contract with the club and could be available for his first appearance of the season against the Cherries.
Defensive midfielder Nick Montgomery is a product of the Sheffield United youth set up and has made 400 appearances for the club over the past twelve years, but he has been linked with a move away from the club during this transfer window.
Championship sides Leeds, Burnley, Blackpool and Huddersfield Town have all been linked ahead of the deadline closing at 11pm on Friday.
Harry Arter will be unavailable for selection as he serves a one match ban following his red card against Preston.
Utility man Stephen Purches and strikers Frank Demouge and Charlie Sheringham remain unavailable.
Shaun MacDonald could be a doubt with a dead leg, while Josh McQuoid has an outside chance of being involved after returning to training on Thursday.
The Cherries right back has been in consistent form this season and is a contender for the Cherries player of the month award.
Francis joined Sheffield United for £200,000 in 2004 but made just a dozen league appearances before he left two years later.
Francis returned to Sheffield United for the first time last season for the Cherries and will be looking to impress once again.
Head To Head

Sheffield United wins - 8
