The new football season kicks off with the Cherries travelling to Oxford for the first round of the League Cup.
Oxford defender Michael Duberry needs neck surgery and will miss the game.
Andy Whing and Harry Worley will also miss out.
Oxford striker Tom Craddock hasn't featured for the U's on a regular basis over the past 12 months, but he scored twice in their final pre season game and could be in contention.
The Cherries will be without strikers Frank Demouge, Josh McQuoid, Steve Fletcher and Charlie Sheringham.
Midfielders Wes Fogden, Stephen Purches, Mark Molesley will also miss out through injury while Eunan O'Kane is on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad.
Cherries striker Matt Tubbs will be looking to start the season with a goal after a frustrating time last season.
