AFC Bournemouth vs. Notts County

Dean Court

Monday 21st December 2009

7.45pm

On Sky

County Come to Court

With the big freeze cancelling all but one of Saturday's League Two games, The Cherries will be hoping to make up the 7 point gap that Rochdale have created at the summit of the table. Having been smashed off the park by Morecambe last week, the boys in Red 'n' Black will be desperate to put on a much better performance for the Sky cameras.

Notts County travel to Dean Court for the second time this season, having knocked AFCB out of the FA Cup in treacherous conditions at the start of the month. However, since then, the County rollercoaster has dipped rather risen, with new owners, as the multi-millionaires disappeared, whilst the manager departed the club soon after just 7 games into his realm. I'm sure the club just want to get back to playing football now.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Jalal and Robinson are major doubts ahving not trained all week. Stech is likely to have his loan extended if Jalal doesn't make it. Cooper, Molesley and Guyett are still absent.

Player to watch: Brett Pitman

Relied upon for goals and having been linked with Derby County this week, the hotshot striker is clearly gaining admirers elsewhere from Dean Court, but Eddie will desperate he stays and scores the goals towards promotion.

Notts County Team News:

Johnnie Jackson and Stephen Hunt won't quite be ready to return to the squad yet.

Player to watch: Kasper Schmeichel

The 'keeper with Premier League experience and son of the United's Great Dane, looked so assured when the sides first met one another, as his exubed confidence. Hopefully, he will have more to cope with this time.

Kasper Schmeichel??! The same keeper who didn't hold a thing in the cup game? Jalal has been in full training since Thursday so is playing. Stech is back at West Ham and was on the bench yesterday,
