Has anyone noticed how the so called big Club fans are using the word irrelevant about us and not tinpot. I am not sure if this is an upgrade or not. What is a relevant Club? Relevant to what? I think I prefer tinpot myself, its what we are and no one should be able to take that away from us.

They're sort of right. When you reach that mid-table area you're not fighting for honours and you're not scrapping for your life.

This may not be obvious to fans like us thanks to the record number of unremarkable years in League One dulling our senses.

Agree ted, a loss at Huddersfield and the worriers will be back with avengeance.

...oh come on it would take a catastrophic run of form to relegate us from this position!

Its the Words that are irrelevant as long as Our Goals enter the Relevant clubs nets. That is really all that matters!

The only possible way our Tinpot or Plucky labels will go away is if or When we Win one of the Tin Trophies! So let's just enjoy at least being Relevant enough to get the attention until then.

Really !!!

I don't think anyone has gone down with 9 wins....
Having 8 that will be some loss in form.
All the clubs below us when winning will be taking points from other clubs most of which will be below us.
Home game against Newcastle, Swansea, Palace & WBA should provide us with the few points needed.
A loss at Huddesfield is not the end of the world, and as long as we continue to play our game and stay fit, I have no worries whatsoever. ( and I am as pessimistic as any Boscombe fan )

Whilst I agree it would be, the table is extremely tight, look at Southampton 1 win lifts them from 18th to 14th.

Agreed Garbo, however, we are two wins and a draw above the relegation zone. That is all I look at. We know how easily form can change and 7 points isn't a lot.

It is an unusual season in that no team like Sunderland or Villa have been cut off and for the bottom team to have 20 points at this point naturally means things are tight.

I think we'll be just fine especially with the way we are playing. I've just always been a "we're not safe until we're mathematically safe" type of guy!!!

The bottom three would need at least 5 wins and 5 draws if we only drew all our remaining games giving us 12 points.

We haven't lost to a team currently in the bottom half since August, remember. Don't see that changing against Huddersfield or the Ashley Oot Brigade.

I wouldn't say, at the moment, that we are 'scrapping for our lives' after our recent run...

More a case of keeping an eye over our shoulders. Just need to keep steadily picking points as we have been. A point on Sunday will do us fine.

All of the weekly podcasts have stopped even mentioning us in passing, because they now deem us to be in boring no-mans land, neither in the relegation scrap nor one of the big boys.

Long may that continue to be honest.

As others say we need a few more points yet before we can consider ourselves safe, mind.

Whilst I agree that it's unlikely we are in danger of going down, Hull had 9 wins (34 points total) last year and went down!

If we win 1 and lose 15 then we deserve to go down.....

66/1 to go down and as Bernstein and Woodward said "follow the money"

£10 on that will get your Championship ST plus a fish supper !

66/1- £100 gives £6,600, nice 2-month holiday to get over the drop. £1000 on it - donate it to Swindon and they could by Ritchie from Newcastle reserves for £400,000 and £260,000 left over to retire on!

Not saying were going to win the league, but 'under the radar' was a great place to be, ' yeah we'll turn at your Birmingham, little old Bournemouth, pass you off the pitch and walk off with the points'

Maths not your strong point is it Bill?

66/1 x 1000 = 66,000

Unfortunately not 660,000
