I heard Afobe was worried Eddie might give him a paper cut and so wanted out asap.

I've seen a few people posting stuff that says how happy they are that he's gone, a little sad to see that. He did great for us over the the first year or so, was a key player for the squad. He has lost confidence this season for sure but he's a good guy and whether he ever plays for us again, deserves a fair hearing.

No disrespect to the lad but his goal scoring record is comparable to Cook and Ake even when Wilshire was giving him decent chances game in game out.

King, Wilson and Defoe are a class above and even with injuries he'd be fighting Mousset for a position on the bench.

It's an awesome bit of business, we get paid to have a fringe player get match experience.

He did a job for us in our first season, and was at the top end of our spending at the time. We had different options when he played and I liked his attitude. Good luck to him! We may not have got Wilshere without his influence too.

I am one of Benik's biggest fans. Sure he missed a few, but he always offered himself, worked hard, did a lot to keep us up in the first season and was great defensive cover at set pieces.

I hope the loan spell works out well for him.

Good luck to him,he tried his best and was just about he friendliest member of the squad, always ready to chat to fans with that great smile.
Who’s Ake play with now Benik gone? for the “plays with Benik Afobe” song? Next signing has to have 5 syllables to name!

Some people are offended because he said he's happy to be at the club he's just joined? Proper weirdos. Did you think you were in a relationship with him?

Footballers aren't fans. They don't support AFCB.

Yep, can’t argue with that sentiment.

There’s very few, if any at all, players in football these days who actually give a toss about the club they play for. I think probably Fletch was our epitome of this attitude, and he must now be close to getting his freebie bus pass.

This whole Benik Afobe saga has finally made me realise how grubby the game is, if I didn't already know. #afcb #wwfc

In my opinion, Afobe was just a bigger version of Rantie.
