Has anyone on here enjoyed the 12th man experience that the club has to offer?! It’s my turn coming up this Sat and before the weekend I was wondering what people’s experiences of it have been?! Looking forward to chatting to Eddie and might even bring my boots if our injury crisis continues!!

I have done it before for my 50th birthday back in 2014 and over the last 2 seasons my daughter has done it for her 18th birthday and my son on his 16th. All three of us really enjoyed it and amazing that Eddie frees up time so close to kick off to do this. Think it’s a nice way to celebrate a special occasion. We were thinking of doing it for my wife too but the three previous times have seen three awful defeats vs Leeds 1-3, Saints 1-3 and Watford 0-2 so put us off! If you aren’t a ST holder works out great value with two tickets and a shirt thrown in too. FYI Eddie will sign your programme or shirt too if you take a pen.

Thanks chaps. Was thinking of taking a pen, how long do you get to chat to Eddie?! Do you get time to get some of the players to sign your shirt too?!

You don't get loads of time to have a chat with EH; when I did it I just spoke to him when having the pictures taken with the shirt. And if any of the players are around, I'm sure they would sign stuff as long as you don't get in the way. You might have a few of the players milling about though, given our injury list.

Hope you enjoy it!

It’s pretty brief - all done within a minute! Not seen anyone ask other players for autos. They are in game mode so best to get them in the car park area pre/post match. Most are very obliging and happy to chat. Great to have a friendly group of players.

Organised it for my brother's 50th last season. Fortunately he had the courtesy to ask me to accompany him! You do get 10/15 mins pitchside whilst the players are warming up. 2 mins with Eddie for photos and signing, which he seemed genuinely happy to do. We also had our "fan's history" printed in the programme that week - which Eddie had already read and complained that we hadn't included him in our all time greatest team! I replied that had we been asked to select a manager, he would have got the nod. It was a great, unique experience. If I'm going to be really picky, my only complaint would be that the seats they give you to go with the package aren't great - low down in the NS - I would have happily paid another £50 on the package for decent seats. But, hell, it was the Liverpool match, so who am I to complain?!

Enjoy.

Last two times the seats have been in the Mac stand. Agree unique experience. Got Eddie to sign my kids photos later on which they really value plus having name on programme with rest of squad is pretty cool. They wear their shirts too. I did find out that on the programme you can’t have a used squad number but can have the shirt printed up with a different number. Thus my son had 16 on his shirt (gets his age number each season) whereas Lewis Cook has 16 in the programme.

Cheers everybody! As it’s the Fa Cup they’ve upgraded us to executive seating so looking forward to it!

Sorry I meant the Ted Mac stand. Either way, a pretty crap view which took the gloss a little off the occasion. What was funny is that after the photos, we were effectively ejected from the ground to make our way round the outside to the Ted Mac stand - they wouldn't let us walk around the perimeter of the pitch to get there. Well done London Cherry for getting the upgrade!

Yes view wasn’t that great but the unfortunately they don’t have many seats free in the main stand that are next to each other! Expect in new stadium things will be easier.

I would fully recommend this to anyone who has a spare bit of cash! A great experience and a chance to have a chat with Eddie was superb!
