Been in London for Christmas, got back to Christchurch at 2.27, after being on the M25 car park for what seemed miles and ages. Swapped cars and wife dropped me at the ground 10 minutes before kick-off.

What a game to watch, slippery surface causing problems but especially when Begovich slipped and lost the ball and the Hammers made it 2-2,.

Thought up to that moment our luck had finally changed, maybe with our late goal and was it or wasn't it a goal? Well after the ref disallowing it for offside, he then went to the lino and bobs your uncle it was 3-3 and we took a point.

Think we should have won that game after two easy misses in the first half.

But we left DC after seeing another 3-3 thriller.

Simon Francis on Solent was thanking our fans for getting right behind the team today, he said it makes a great difference.

At last a fight to the finish and a bit of luck (or magic) to earn a point. Glued to the TV for final score and was gutted when they took the lead on 89. But a bit of Callum's magic at the end.

Yep Callum used his 'wand' to turn the ball in.

Blaming any player for slipping on the soaking turf, along with a howling gale, seems a bit harsh. The slippers they wear nowadays are to blame.
