I know...I never watch England apart from in tournaments due to the turgid crap they serve up (I know that’s the same in tournaments but it’s more dramatic) but I’ve sat through tonight waiting to see if they thought him worth a run instead of Livermore....

To gain experience?

He's got better tournament experience than the guys in the pitch.

It depends on the Tournament.

You can't tell me, he has more Tournament experience than Marcello for instance?

I've just sat through a midfield duo of f***ing Jake Livermore and Jesse Lingard for 90 minutes, thanks a lot Gareth you absolute f***tard.

But it's ok, because Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke got brought on! Who do they play for again? Oh yeah, Chelsea and Liverpool! And I actually thought Cook might start! Serves me right! To not even be given a 10 minute cameo at the end, yet the likes of Ashley Young and Danny Rose get brought on. Why? What's the point? What the f*** else have you got to learn about Ashley Young?

And now they're bumming Liverpool starlet Solanke for a fantastic introduction to his England career. Because he made a run. He ran past a player one time. F*** off. What a waste of an evening.

Would've been a tough game to be thrown into. He struggled against Chelsea a couple of weeks back don't forget.

his chance will come, would have been good to see him play but it gives him something to really push for this season.

Chelsea had a physically dominant midfield though, I'd fancy Cooks chances against Coutinho and Firmino, the Liverpool Lesbians.

Yes, because I was obviously referring to the Brazilian players.

To be fair he already has plenty of experience of unnecessarily sitting on a bench.

Having slept on it....

....Still really p***ed off with Gareth. I can't wrap my head around why Danny Rose came on in the last 5 minutes instead of Cook.

Recorded the game and watched earlier.

Enjoyed watching the combination of Neymar and Jesus, the attacking play and passing from Brazil for a side playing away from home in a friendly match.

For England Joe Gomez the formar Charlton youngster signed by Liverpool for £3,500,000 was given MOM by Glenn Hoddle. Wasn't Gomez a target for us at one time, maybe loan from Liverpool or was it just some of our fans that wanted him?

Surprised to see a number of empty seats around the stadium, even though the attendance given was 84,595.

I tried to get a ticket but sold out on official website. However, lots of touts/reselling. Expect some weren’t sold on. Annoying too when they kick off for second half and you see the hospitality seats empty
