'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cherries Eye Kuffour

Ghanaian international Jo Kuffour is suspected to be top of Bond's summer hit list as the Cherries desperately need to strengthen as threadbare squad.

The 25 year old is currently on a free transfer and unlikely to stay at relegated Brentford.

Although Jeff Mostyn would rather not comment on whether any approach had been made he did want to assure fans in today`s Daily Echo that 'quality' is a prerequisite of any player joining the club and Bournemouth are in talks to secure three new players.

'Once again, this shows the commitment of the football club to bring quality players to join the squad for the start of next season and if we're fortunate enough to bring one or all three of these individuals to the club, we would be delighted.

Mostyn explained in no uncertain terms that he sees the future of AFCB as a bright one.

'I'm hoping to sell the desire that we have to take this club forward and to clearly show our fans that we are interested in success, not just taking part.'

Positive stuff from the Chair, lets just hope it all comes together as planned.

Glimpses of a good player, but is he consistant enough for your needs?

I suppose if KB leaves it much longer we will be able to use cardboard cut outs of players similar to our cardboard police?
