upthecherries.co.uk have interviewed player/coach Eddie Howe.
I went over the Dean Court to meet Eddie after training on the Friday before the Forest game. It was a lovely day weather-wise so we toodled off outside and sat in the South stand and enjoyed the sun! It was fun chatting to Eddie and we did get a bit nostalgic at one point and had a chat about the good old days and even sat there singing a few of the old songs, much to the amusement of the ground staff! Although I did have to wait for Eddie to stop laughing about the fact that I am so short I cannot reach the floor from the front row of the South Stand! I must also mention what a gentleman Eddie is, the simple things like holding doors open for ladies combined with a quiet, calm, relaxed, friendly and totally professional manner made for a lovely afternoon. I am so pleased he has moved onto coaching within our club and sincerely hope he will be here for many years to come. What a wonderful role model to the youngsters…
