'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Six pointer at Sixfields

AFC Bournemouth go into yet another six pointer this weekend.

The Cherries travel to Northampton, trying to end a results sequence of 11 games that predicts another defeat tomorrow.

The Cherries current form currently reads...

W-W-L-L-W-W-L-L-W-W-L-?

Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond told afcb.co.uk...

'It's obviously an important game for both sides at the wrong end of the table. Both teams will be keen to get something from the game and the onus will probably be more on Northampton as they are at home.

'We need to put the Blackpool performance behind us and get back to where we were before. The lads have come into training in good spirits. We've won more than we've lost recently and our general form would see us higher in the league.

'We've come out of the relegation zone with back to back wins. But we know if we keep losing a couple we'll drop back in there again so we need the consistency.'

Out of interest - can you as Bournemouth fans just choose to travel to Northampton on the day or is it all ticket for away fans seeing as Sixfields is a small stadium?
merlin
No we can normally chose on the day Merlin. There are a few games that will be all ticket but 90% of games are pay on the day. If it is a big game or the opposition is known to have a large following like Notts Forest for example the game will definately be all ticket. Certainly for league matches we are rarely anywhere near capacity so you can chose to go at 2.45 if you live near enough and still get a ticket. We had an initial allocation of 980 tomorrow with the option of a further 400 tickets should we need them on the day. I think we will only take 8-900 tops because of our league position.

I can see Northamptin falling in to the bottom 4 - with your help!
