Howe: It was good to see Arter get a goal

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe never had any doubts in backing midfielder Harry Arter to start against Huddersfield Town.

The Cherries manager opted to name an unchanged side following the 1-0 victory against Newcastle United.

However between the two Premier League games an international break had seen Harry Arter join up with the Republic Of Ireland squad and Lewis Cook captain the England Under 21's.

But despite that disappointment, Howe was sure Arter was ready to start against Huddersfield Town.

Howe told after the game...

'It was nice to see Harry score today. Having his World Cup dream over, it was difficult to take for him but I`m really pleased for him individually.

'Harry is an experienced player. If he was younger and we haven`t shared the experiences that we have then it may be different, but I had no doubts in playing him today. He`s come through a lot and so he was more than capable of playing today.

This run of results were never really in doubt.
