Could Ings return to Dean Court
Could Eddie Howe be set to bring youth team product Danny Ings back to AFC Bournemouth from Liverpool?
The Sun have made the claim that the Cherries are interested in the striker in a possible loan move during the January transfer window.
The report mainly concentrates on West Ham United's apparent interest, but adds...
'Liverpool will want to be sure Ings is playing when he is loaned out — and not just sitting on the bench — and that will be the test for all of the clubs who have kept on his trail.
'Newcastle and Ings` former club Bournemouth both like him and would take him.
Ings first broke onto the first team scene in November 2009.
With the Cherries struggling with injuries, Ings was added to the first team for the Paint Pot match away at Northampton in October 2009.
Ings was handed the number 34 shirt and went on to make his first team debut after coming on as a substitute.
Despite struggling with injuries, Ings was handed his first professional contract during the summer of 2010, signing a short term deal, which was extended in September 2010 until the end of the 2010/11 season. On the same day he joined Dorchester Town on loan, scoring on his debut.
On his return from Dorchester after scoring 7 goals in 13 appearances in the Conference South, Ings was rewarded with a contract extension until the summer of 2012, which was then extended again in February 2011 following his first goal for AFC Bournemouth against Swindon.
Ings completed the season with eight goals from twenty eight appearances and was sold to Championship side Burnley, then managed by Eddie Howe, in August 2011 for an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of £1million.
He would go on to score 43 goals in 130 appearances for Burnley before a move to Liverpool in 2015.
