Fair Play Kings - 2016/17

Fair Play Kings - 2016/17

Liverpool may have taken the Fair Play award for the season of 2016/17 but which sides were slightly more naughty across the campaign.

Liverpool registered 54 bookings across last season but did not pick up a red card, with Swansea City following in second place with 56 yellows.

Watford had the worst disciplinary record with a return of 84 yellow cards and five reds.

There is a £20,000 prize fund for the Premier League Fair Play winners and Liverpool have announced that season ticket holders aged between 17 and 21 with share that - roughly a reduction in the season ticket price by around £75 for 260 younger fans.

These days the Fair Play table no longer rewards sides with a Europa League spot, that ended back in 2015.

The Football Association's Fair Play table is calculated by a points system:

Caution - 4 points
Denial of a goalscoring opportunity or dismissal for two cautions - 10 points
Violent conduct, serious foul play, spitting or offensive and abusive language - 12 points
