Premier League trio chase French midfielder

AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Stoke City and Championship side Aston Villa have all been keeping a close watch on a French midfielder.

The Croydon Advertiser have picked up on reports from the Daily Mail that the quartet of English clubs have all had scouts watching French second tier side Amiens.

The target is versatile 24 year old Guessouma Fofana, who can play either in a deep defensive midfield role or in defence.

According to the report Fofana is valued at around £4million.
