Howe: We know we need more points

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes his side will need to improve on their excellent performance against Tottenham earlier this season to get anything from the away fixture.

The Cherries hosted Tottenham Hotspur at Dean Court live on Sky Sports back in October.

The game followed two of the Cherries most memorable home performances of the season with the 1-0 victory over Everton and the 6-1 win over Hull City.

AFC Bournemouth matched Tottenham taking a point in a 0-0 draw.

Howe told afcb.co.uk...

'...I knew how good a performance that was, We were very good, very aggressive, we looked solid, and kept a clean sheet. We`ve got to look to match that if not better it.

AFC Bournemouth are undefeated in their last three away fixtures, taking points against Manchester United, Southampton and Liverpool.

Meanwhile Tottenham Hotspur are undefeated at White Hart Lane all season.

Howe added...

"We have a game plan, as for every game, where we review the players playing and we look at how we`re going to set up..."

'...I think we`ll be well prepared. We know we need more points so we`re desperate to do that and if we don`t do that in our next game, we`ve got five other games to do so."

Premier League Prize Money

Still a hell of a lot of dosh to play for.
Realistic projection would say we will finish between 9th and 17th
A £16M difference in funds.

That pays for a new defender next year.

17th place - £8M
9th place - £24M
