Surman: We will be working hard in Dubai

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Andrew Surman does not believe the clubs Premier League status is confirmed just yet.

The Cherries completed back to back wins for the first time this season with victories against West Ham United and Swansea City.

That six point return moved AFC Bournemouth to 11th in the top flight of English football, nine points clear of the relegation zone with nine games remaining.

As the Premier League now takes a short break due to International matches, the Cherries squad have flown to Dubai for a training camp.

Surman told the Daily Echo...

"Whenever we go away we are fully focused on the next game. We will be working hard.

'Our job is not done. We have 33 points and that is not going to keep us up.

'We are well aware our run-in last season was not great. We had some extremely tough games and we were in a different position, we already had 40 points.

'It is a little bit different this season. We need the points but this is a great start and now, hopefully, we can start looking up rather than down."

3 more points before the end of the season will probably see us safe. - Join the conversation here.
