Howe: Utmost respect for Brentford
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe hopes that his Cherries side can find consistency in this seasons Championship campaign.
The Cherries started the new season in headline grabbing form, scoring during the opening 24 seconds of the match and going on to beat Huddersfield Town 4-0 away from home, a result that costed Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robbins his job.
AFC Bournemouth followed that result with a comfortable victory over League Two side Exeter City in the League Cup, with Howe making a full eleven changes for the game.
The Cherries now head into a Dean Court double header with Brentford to visit on Saturday, swiftly followed by Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
Howe told the Daily Echo...
"From our perspective, it was only one game and we need to back it up with consistent results.
'It is no good performing well one week and not the next. Consistency is going to be crucial and we want to produce a similar performance against Brentford..."
'..When you play any promoted team early in the season, they are difficult games. The players still have the promotion fresh in their minds, they go into games with no fear and they want to make a good impression.
'We will give Brentford the utmost respect and know they are going to examine us. We need to be up to that test."
