Howe: I am going to rotate the squad

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe insists that he does not have a favoured starting eleven.

Howe has been keen to add strength in depth to all areas of the squad and he is determined to utilise everyone to keep his players fresh as the season progresses.

Howe has also been pleased with how his team have so far played during pre-season, with 15 goals scored against Eastleigh and Dorchester Town.

Pre-season steps up a gear on Friday evening with the Cherries hosting Southampton at Dean Court.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

"There is no set team in my mind. With the quality of the squad and regardless of position, I don`t think there can be. It is going to be a season where I am going to rotate the squad.

"In essence, even if someone misses out on the first day, it is not the end of the world. There are a lot of players in the squad who are going to play a lot of games and we will need that strength in depth to make sure everybody is fresh when we come to the turn of the year...'

'...It is good to see everyone playing so well and in form. I think we have looked very good in the three games so far so, in that sense, the squad is in healthy shape."

T K was in and out of the team. . Pugh and Frazer were swopped around. . . . You are all worrying to much. . . . EDDIE KNOWS BEST.
