Kermorgant: Grabban can target 25 goals

AFC Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban should target 25 goals this season according to strike partner Yann Kermorgant.

The Cherries signing from Charlton, who has quickly become a Dean Court favourite, believes that Grabban can target 25 goals this campaign.

The Cherries top goalscorer has already hit the net 20 times this season and four games remaining, Kermorgant believes the goals will continue.

Kermorgant told afcb.co.uk...

'...I think Grabbs was buzzing for his 20th goal because when you get to that point, people recognise you as one of the best strikers in the league.

"Even though there aren`t many games remaining I think he can target 25 goals. We create a lot of chances and I know he can do it. He doesn`t have to stop at 20.

One thing that might stop him is end of season fatigue. Grabban played a lot of games in the lone striker role during the winter period of the season and more recently he has been a selection doubt with a groin problem.

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told afcb.co.uk...

"Lewis was fatigued again (against Yeovil), It`s been such a busy period and he has given so much in his games...'

"...We rested him this week, we haven`t really seen him in training, hopefully his groin is not too sore and he can take to the field."
