O'Kane: It was a pleasure to watch

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane believes the win over Leeds United was one of the best results since he joined the club.

O'Kane made the move to Dean Court in July 2012 after being signed by former Cherries manager Paul Groves.

He made his 73rd appearance for the Cherries during the Cherries 4-1 victory over Leeds United, with O'Kane stepping off the bench after 54 minutes to replace Andrew Surman.

O'Kane had dropped to the bench, with AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe favouring Harry Arter, but instead of being disappointed that he had lost his place in the starting line up, O'Kane was delighted to watch the performance from the sidelines.

O'Kane told

'...after the first 30 minutes I was contemplating paying the ticket price to watch.

"The lads were terrific and it was a pleasure to watch for the first 60 minutes. Thankfully I was able to be a part of it..."

'...As a result, it`s up there from my time here. I thought we were good at Brighton and Reading earlier this season, but this is up there for the manner of the result."
