Elphick: It will be a tough night

AFC Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick is expecting a difficult evening as the Cherries aim to keep Leeds striker Ross McCormack quiet.

Leeds United striker Ross McCormack is the highest scorer in the Championship with 26 goals thus far this season, including 8 goals in his last 11 appearances.

However the Cherries go into the game with confidence after climbing from 17th to 11th in the table over the past month.

From six games, AFC Bournemouth have won four, drawn one and lost one, scoring eight and conceding just once.

Elphick told the Daily Echo...

'...It will be a tough night but as a defence we are feeling confident at the moment after keeping clean sheets and playing in front of home fans will, hopefully, spur us on to keep another one.

"The manager leaves no stone unturned. He will show us a lot of clips and he (McCormack) is someone I have seen play a lot of times.

'I've not played against him but have seen him live so there won't be much we don't know about him. We should be primed to keep another clean sheet."
