Harte: Delighted for the fans

AFC Bournemouth left back Ian Harte was delighted to get the three points for all the fans that made the trip to Blackburn.

The Cherries secured all the points from their back to back games in Lancashire, extending their current run to three consecutive victories, whilst scoring seven goals and keeping three clean sheets.

Over 600 supporters made the trip to Blackpool on Saturday and over 200 made the return trip to Blackburn on Wednesday night.

They were well rewarded with an excellent Cherries performance, with Lewis Grabban's 20 yard effort winning the points.

Harte told BBC Radio Solent...

'It's been nice to get a few games, Chaz is out injured at the moment and he is a massive player for the team.

'I had to wait and be patient, but you have to be a team player. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

'I'm getting on a bit now, but I will never lose that hunger and desire that I've got. You can probably see that in how vocal I am on the pitch.

'I'm delighted tonight and for all the fans who have travelled up. They will enjoy the long trip back home.'

Can you please teach the youngsters how to deliver a set piece ball like you do?
