Camp: You have to admire Demin
AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Lee Camp has praised manager Eddie Howe and Cherries owner Maxim Demin for investing in the side during the January transfer window.
Camp made the permanent move to Dean Court when the transfer window first opened at the turn of the year. After an impressive loan spell at the club, Camp signed a permanent deal with the Cherries following the end of his contract with West Brom.
He was joined on a permanent basis by Adam Smith, who signed from Tottenham and Yann Kermogrant who joined from Charlton on transfer deadline day.
Camp believes the additions have improved the squad and he has praised Russian businessman Maxim Demin for his financial input.
Camp told BBC Radio Solent...
"I think we are looking very strong and the squad is taking shape, I`m sure the manager has worked very hard to get players in. Obviously the club is backed by a very wealthy owner and he is very supportive I believe towards the manager and very helpful in terms of financial backing.
"Considering the financial regulations that are coming into play and that there is fair play rules going on, to make three permanent signings is a positive thing for the football club.
"You have to admire the man for putting his money in and the manager for identifying the players."
