Kermorgant: Looking forward to the next game

AFC Bournemouth new signing Yann Kermorgant is looking forward to his next game as a Cherries player.

The 32 year old Frenchman made the move to Dean Court on transfer deadline day and made his Cherries debut as a half time substitute against Championship leaders Leicester City.

Despite having had a difficult week with uncertainty surrounding his future, the striker impressed many of the Dean Court faithful following his move from Charlton.

The striker however is now looking forward to settling in with his new team-mates.

Kermorgant told the Daily Echo...

"It was a tough game. Both teams have been playing very well and Leicester are top of the league for a reason...'

'...It was difficult for me and normally I am much fitter. I haven`t slept a lot and had to travel between London and Bournemouth two or three times during the week.

"I knew I wouldn`t be at my best physically but I am looking forward to a rest and a good week with my new team-mates. I am looking forward to the next game and will be much better."

I thought you integrated with the team very quickly and provided much needed skills in your first game .... including holding the ball up, headering and powerful presence. We don't have these skills currently, so it was good to see.
