Tindall: Pleased with January business

AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall was pleased with the signings of Adam Smith and Yann Kermorgant before the January transfer window closed.

Smith joined the Cherries from Tottenham, whilst Kermogrant made the move from Charlton to Dean Court on deadline day.

Whilst Adam Smith will offer competition for places alongside Simon Francis, French striker Kermogrant will immediately offer options for the Cherries attacking line.

Alongside the likes of Lewis Grabban, Tokelo Rantie and Brett Pitman, the 32 year old offers a more physical presence, as well as experience at Championship level.

Tindall told afcb.co.uk...

"January is always a difficult time of the year to try and do business, but we are really pleased with what we have done, Adam Smith has come in and will add very good competition to the squad in the full back areas...'

"...Yann`s a player we have admired from afar for a while now, He was brilliant for Charlton in the time he was there and he`s different to what we have, so he will be a great addition.

"We are fortunate to have very good strikers at the club and Yann will complement every single one them.'
