AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was disappointed that his side failed to take all three points against Ipswich.
The 1-1 draw left the Cherries ten points clear of the relegation zone and only six points behind the play-off places.
Whilst the draw was enough to lift Ipswich into the play-off places as they target a return to the Premier League.
Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town were one of the best sides to visit Dean Court this season, well organised, they passed the ball well and really put the home side under pressure during the opening period of the game.
But Eddie Howe's side grew into the game and had chances themselves to take the lead with Lewis Grabban and Ryan Fraser having the best of the chances.
But it was Ipswich who struck first with Daryl Murphy tucking away a Frank Nouble cross at the far post.
AFC Bournemouth piled on the pressure and Brett Pitman struck from close range to share the points.
Howe told afcb.co.uk...
'I felt we deserved three points today and I'm disappointed we couldn't force a second goal, but full credit to Ipswich with how they defended the last period of the game, In the first 15 to 20 minutes they started the game really well and you could see they are a team coming here in really good form. We had to withstand that pressure and grow into the game, which we did.
'We had some great chances in the first half that we didn't take, which we are slightly frustrated with because at this level, and with the high standard of football, you need to take your opportunities when they come.
'But thankfully we stuck with it, and at 1-0 down we didn't let our heads drop. We scored a good, and deserved goal, and we're just disappointed we didn't come away with three points.'
