'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Howe: We kept asking questions

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was pleased with his side after securing back to back wins for the first time this season.

Following on from victory over Sheffield Wednesday, the Cherries went on to comfortably beat Yeovil Town 3-0 at Dean Court to take a third victory in four Championship outings.

The Cherries dominated proceedings from start to finish, with only Yeovil and former AFC Bournemouth loanee 'keeper Marek Stech in inspirational form keeping the sides level.

AFC Bournemouth eventually found the break through during the second half with Matt Ritchie opening the scoring, before his shot was deflected into the net for a second.

An excellent individual effort from Eunan O'Kane completed the scoring.

Howe told BBC Radio Solent...

'We were excellent in the first half today, But again we didn't score, and you come in at 0-0 and you wonder how we haven't scored a few goals and potentially more.

'We had numerous chances and their goalkeeper made some great saves in the first half, but we defended very well which was very pleasing and gave us a platform to win the game.

'I felt if we created the same number of chances that we did in the first half we would win the game.

'If you keep asking questions you will get the right answers. We kept putting balls in the box and kept asking questions of their defenders, and eventually one falls to Matt (Ritchie) on his left foot and you wouldn't want it to fall to anyone else.'
