'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Want to win MacDonald's promotion winning shirt?

AFCB Vital have launched a competition to win AFC Bournemouth midfielder Shaun MacDonald`s match worn shirt from last season`s League One promotion winning campaign.

This shirt has been signed by the AFC Bournemouth squad and raffle tickets cost just 10.

The shirt was kindly donated by MacDonald to Steve Rees aka Reeco, who originally recommended him for a trial with Swansea`s Centre of Excellence when MacDonald was a promising Under 11.

Reeco then contacted AFCB Vital to launch the raffle in order to raise money for a very worthy cause back in MacDonald`s home city of Swansea.

Reeco told AFCB Vital...

'I do my fair share of helping charities, organisations and individuals raise funds for special causes and I am very good friend with a current Bournemouth Legend Shaun MacDonald.

'I spoke to Shaun recently about my intention to raise some funds for the most well deserved cause I have ever raised funds for, at the moment it needs to be kept under wraps as it's a surprise, but I have told Shaun who will benefit from this fundraiser and he is happy to help me, I could not have done this without Shaun.'

'Shaun said he would give me something special and boy he was not wrong. I know what this last season`s Bournemouth Squad Signed Shirt means to Shaun and he is happy to endorse what I am doing.'

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Shaun MacDonald told AFCB Vital...

'I am donating my shirt to hopefully raise some money for a very special cause. It`s very personal to me and I would like to put a few smiles on people`s faces and hopefully this can!'

As part of the same fundraiser, Reeco is also auctioning off two Swansea City player shirts and intends to get both Lee Trundle and Shaun MacDonald together to complete the presentation once all funds have been received.

Reeco continued: 'My intention with your help, is to sell as many 10 tickets as possible to raffle off this very special AFC Bournemouth shirt.

'When all the funds are in at the end of October. I will then organise the draw and presentation at the same time to coincide with Shaun's visit back to Swansea to see his family in November.

Raffle Tickets are available to purchase direct from Reeco, via the AFCB Vital forum via direct Bank Transfer.

Simply visit this thread on the AFCB Vital Forum and declare how many tickets you would like to purchase and Reeco will get in contact with you via the private message function on the forum to arrange payment.

Reeco will be checking the thread a couple of times a day to update it and Reeco is happy to use either your forum username or real name when updating the list of raffle ticket buyers.

Reeco added: 'As soon as I receive your payment, I will mark it down as how you paid, on this web page and on the AFCB Vital forum.

'This is to show how transparent the process is and people will see who has paid what and how.

'If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me directly on my mobile number 07779495480 or on my e-mail address.

'I appreciate none of you know me, but please read my website reecossoccerschools.co.uk to see all the charity fundraising I do, this should give you a feel of the type of person I am and to Shaun I thank you so much for your kindness and support.'
