Ferdinand wants chance to do well

Former England striker Les Ferdinand wants the chance to do well in his first managerial post.

Speaking ahead of his interview for the position at AFC Bournemouth, the prolific striker spoke of his desire to find the right job for him.

Speaking to the Voice of Sport Ferdinand said...

'...looking at the club (Bournemouth) from the outside it looks like something I would definitely be interested in but we'll have to see what happens after I meet them.'

'It's important that the club has ambition and that they want the same things that I do.

There's no point in going somewhere that isn't going to give you a chance.

'In football it's important that you take the right job, especially one that will give you a chance to do well. It's hard to get a job in football but even harder if people have perceived that you have messed up your first job.'

Lets hope he did well in his interview and the board either have him as the manager or assistant. Either will do for me, thank you very much.

I think it would be interesting to have him has your manager. One of those that could be a disaster or could be a great choice.
jono_forest
