'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mandaric interested in Bournemouth?

Former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric is being linked with a takeover of AFC Bournemouth.

The former Portsmouth Chairman recently stepped down as Chairman of Pompey after selling the club to Alexandre Gaydamak.

The gossip column on BBC Sport (source Daily Star) reads...

Former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric may splash out on a takeover of Bournemouth.

He went on to tell the Daily Star...

"Bournemouth is a club I have a lot of respect for, English football is the only place to be.

"I have been involved in football for the last 30 years and do not intend to stop now."

Mandaric has also been linked with a move for Championship side Leicester City and was asked about the Leicester rumour by BBC Sport after Portsmouth's 1-0 defeat to Bolton on Tuesday night and he said...

'I'm a football man and love the game so am not ruling out that one day I will participate somewhere else.

'I'm not thinking about it now. I need a rest and will see what I want to do.'

'Right now, I just want to live with my very rich memories of Portsmouth.'

Hopefully im not dreaming this, if thi happens then we are on a rise hopefully without a bump back down to earth!!

Oh please Milan, do it. We saw at Portsmouth that he loves his football, and turned them around with Harry. I think he'd be be the ideal investor for AFCB.

Now that would be a coup. Who would he bring in as manager?
sandgroanun
I reckon Harry! To be honest, i don't think it's going to be him, no matter how nice it would be!

this is a joke being a bournemouth fan!! how do u guys do it!!
jack_a_lele
Well he was fantastic for us & the thought had crossed my mind a few days back. We'd rather he went to you than Leicester. No doubt Harry may play a part if MM does pop across. Play up Pompey & good luck to the Cherries.

Come on Mandaric, bring you millions over the Dean Court. You know you want to!
