Büchel signs new Cherries deal

 Büchel signs new Cherries deal

AFC Bournemouth development goalkeeper Benjamin Büchel has signed a new deal with the club.

Over the summer goalkeeping duo Darryl Flahavan and Benjamin Büchel were both offered new twelve month contracts to remain at the club.

Flahavan agreed his deal last month, while afcb.co.uk have now announced that 'Benji' has also extended his contract.

Benjamin Büchel is currently sidelined with a knee injury and has already undergone an operation to fix his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), which he suffered in March playing on loan for Dorchester.

He has begun his rehabilitation and is expected to be sidelined for around six to nine months.
