Moss: Keepers are raring to go

AFC Bournemouth goalkeeping coach Neil Moss is looking forward to working with all three of the Cherries 'keepers during pre-season.

Current number one Ryan Allsop returned to training this week alongside former number one Shwan Jalal and Darryl Flahavan, who this month signed a new contract extension at Dean Court.

Moss will not be altering his coaching schedule a great deal after the side won promotion to the Championship last season, but expects all there to be a good level of competition with all three trying to win a place in the squad.

Moss told afcb.co.uk...

'...I was pleased with their fitness going into the season (last year) and the preparations will be similar this year, but I will be thinking up a few new sessions to keep them on their toes.

"All three goalkeepers will be giving 100 per cent to try and prove they should be in the team at the start of the season.

"Ryan has the shirt as it is but the other two boys have come back raring to go. My job should be relatively easy and I shouldn`t have to be motivating any of them to give any more."
