Long-term Injury Update

Long-term Injury Update

News has been released on afcb.co.uk regarding the 5 members of the AFCB squad with long-standing injuries.

Stephen Purches is in the final stages of his rehabilitation from a broken leg, but will be able to join the squad for full training at the start of pre-season. Great news with his testimonial against West Ham part of the match schedule.

Miles Addison will be able to join Purches after recovering from a foot injury he suffered back in November.

Stephane Zubar is also going to be with the squad next week, having completed his rehab for the knee injury he suffered whilst on-loan at Bury.

Joe Partington is slightly behind the first three, as he steps up his recovery from his fractured leg. He will begin running next week, but is hopeful of joining the squad by the end of July.

Finally, Benjamin Buchel will start jogging in a couple of weeks bfore visiting a surgeon in September regarding his knee injury. After this consultation, a decision will be made as to whether he is ready to be a part of full training once more.
