Flav: Bring on Pre-Season!

AFCB 'keeper, Darryl Flahaven, is keen to get back into pre-season training after a season to forget last year.

The former Pompey shot-stopper injured his shoulder last pre-season and subsequently missed the majority of the season, having previously established himself as The Cherries #1 in 2011/12.

Despite the squad not reappearing until 24th June, 'Flav' has already begun his own preparation, as he told afcb.co.uk:

'I can`t wait to get started again. Last season was a nightmare for me to be honest with the injury in pre-season, so first and foremost, I just want to be injury free. Hopefully, I can get a good pre-season under my belt and start enjoying my football again. I've had a good break but now I'm back, I've turned my focus to getting myself as fit as I can, ready for pre-season training.'

He will now have to try and wrestle the shirt off young Ryan Allsop, who came in and made a big impression at the back end of the season:

'I thought he was fantastic when he was given a chance by the manager at what was a really pressurised part of the season. For someone so young, to come in and play with that level of maturity and consistency was impressive.'
