Tindall: We deserve our chance in the Championship

AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall believes the Cherries current squad is good enough to compete in the Championship.

Tindall earned 21 months experience in England's second tier whilst assistant to manager Eddie Howe at Burnley and after winning promotion for a second time as management duo with the Cherries, AFC Bournemouth will make the step up to the Championship next season.

The Cherries will face sides who have recently been relegated from the Premier League, who benefit from multimillion pound parachute payments and other established second flight sides.

But whilst AFC Bournemouth will be one of the smallest clubs in the division, Tindall believes the current squad already has what it takes to compete.

Tindall told the Daily Echo...

"People that have seen us play time and time again this season will know what a fantastic squad we have got.

"We have a group of players that are young and hungry for success, and they have showed that on many occasions this season.

"They deserve their opportunity to play in the Championship. From our experiences in the Championship, they will more than cope, no problem whatsoever. Technically good players will be able to go up a level and do well."
