Pugh: I am over the moon

AFC Bournemouth winger Marc Pugh agreed a new contract to remain with the Cherries back in November.

Pugh had been mulling over a new contract for well over twelve months and had been due to be out of contract at Dean Court during the summer.

But just weeks following Eddie Howe's return from Championship side Burnley, Pugh signed a new three and a half year contract with AFC Bournemouth, running until the end of the 2015/16 season.

Following the clubs promotion to the Championship, Pugh now believes that as a club, the Cherries now ticks all the right boxes and he couldn't be happier that he decided to stay.

Pugh told the Daily Echo...

'...it proved to be the right move. I am absolutely delighted with it.

'I love everything about Bournemouth - the place, the people and I love living here.

"To tick all the boxes, it just needed Championship football and that is what we have got now. I am over the moon."
