Arter: Our worst performance under Howe

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter believes the Cherries performance against Preston North End was the worst since Eddie Howe's return as manager.

The Cherries succumbed to their second League One defeat since mid-October on Saturday, when Eddie Howe's side lost 2-0 to Preston North End.

AFC Bournemouth have of course climbed the League One table during that period of time, going from 21st place in the league to 1st in four months, earning an impressive 50 points from a possible 63 before Saturday.

Howe's men of course lost to Walsall last month with another understrength performance and bounced back with five consecutive victories and Arter wants the same response this time around.

Arter told the Daily Echo...

"...Personally, I felt it was my worst performance under the gaffer. As a team, I would say it was probably our worst performance as well.

"It is a disappointing time but we can`t get away from how well we have done and the position we were in four or five months ago compared with where we are now.

"We need to make sure we bounce back the same way we did after we were defeated by Walsall...'
