Howe: Focus remains on the next game

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe insists that the focus of the squad will not change now that the side have reached the top of the League One table.

In the four months following the return of management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall the Cherries have rapidly climbed the table, from 21st to 1st in just 21 games.

With promotion to the Championship the aim for Eddie Howe's side the teams focus now turns to remaining top of the division and Howe intends to do that by approaching every game in the same way as they have done before.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

'...If you can`t enjoy being top of the league and in that position, then you are not going to enjoy anything in football...'

'...What is key for me is that we try to focus on the next game and try to stay there. That is the most difficult part now - to try to stay there.

"Everyone will want to try to take our place so we have got to make sure nothing changes from our side and we continue to approach every game in the professional way that we have done."
