Seaborne: Howe is a great tactician

Seaborne: Howe is a great tactician

AFC Bournemouth loanee Dan Seaborne has praised Cherries manager Eddie Howe for turning the clubs fortunes around this season.

Seaborne joined the Cherries on loan for the remainder of the season from south coast neighbours Southampton in January.

Seaborne has a wealth of experience in teams that have won promotion, including back to back promotions with Southampton and two promotions with former club Exeter.

The defender believes that there are similarities between Southampton's promotion season and the Cherries current campaign and hopes for the same outcome.

Seaborne told the Daily Echo...

'...When we won successive promotions at Southampton, we had a fantastic group of lads and were really close knit. It is the same here.

"We also had a change of manager, like there has been here, but the core of the players stayed the same. The manager here has done really well and you can see why. He is a great voice and a great tactician.'

"There are similarities but that was Southampton and this is Bournemouth. It is not going to go exactly the same but, hopefully, the end result will be the same...'
