Howe: Fans will be excited by Fraser signing

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that once the Cherries supporters get to see new signing Ryan Fraser they will be excited.

The 18 year old only broke into the side at Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen this season and was a relatively unknown for many supporters on the south coast.

The Cherries and Aberdeen agreed an undisclosed fee of around £300,000 for the Scotland Under 19's international with Fraser signing a three and a half year deal.

He missed the game against Walsall on Saturday as International clearance had not been received, but could be in line to make his debut this (Tuesday) evening away at Hartlepool.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

"As a young man moving a long way from home, it is going to be a challenge for him. But he has a very good family behind him and his parents are very involved in his career. They want what is best for him and his agent is certainly the same.

"I think he has got a good team behind him and, hopefully, we can help him settle. As we know, Bournemouth is a great area and we have got a really good team in the changing room that will help him.

"Hopefully, it (homesickness) will not be an issue. I certainly think it can`t be underestimated and there may be a period of adjustment. But, once the supporters see him, hopefully, they will be as excited as we are about the signing."

I wonder when his debut will be? :/ coz we could really do with a right winger like now...
