Seaborne: It`s a big challenge for me here

AFC Bournemouth loanee Dan Seaborne is looking forward to spending the rest of the season with the Cherries.

Seaborne joined the Cherries on loan for the remainder of the season from Premier League side Southampton on Thursday.

He has made ten appearances thus far this season, three for Southampton in the League Cup and seven whilst out on loan with Championship side Charlton.

The 25 year old was also a target for a number of other Championship clubs, but has instead opted to bolster the Cherries defensive ranks for the remainder of the season.

With the Cherries defensive record excellent in recent weeks prior to the 3-1 defeat to Walsall, Seaborne was named on the bench by Eddie Howe on Saturday and the defender is looking forward to the challenge at his newly adopted club.

Seaborne told afcb.co.uk...

"I`ve come here to be successful, I don`t feel that I am a player here on loan, but a Bournemouth player.

"My mind is fully on Bournemouth - I`m going to move in to the area while I`m at the club.

"It`s a big challenge for me here and that`s what I thrive on - I`m really looking forward to it."
