Pugh: Confidence is sky high

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Marc Pugh is targeting a top six position at the end of the month.

The Cherries go into Saturday's game against in form Swindon Town on a seventeen game unbeaten run of form.

AFC Bournemouth have remained undefeated since Eddie Howe announced his return to Dean Court after 21 months at Championship side Burnley.

The side have advanced to a third round replay against Premier League side Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup, whilst in League One the Cherries have climbed from 21st in the table to 7th, level on points with 6th place Franchise and three points behind fifth place Swindon Town.

Pugh told BBC Radio Solent...

'The confidence is sky high and we go into the Swindon game full of belief, The boys are buzzing and we need to take care of our own performance, and I'm sure the results will take care of themselves.

'We were a millions miles off so it's an unbelievable achievement so far but we can't stop here. It's a big task for us.

'We've got a tough month coming up and we need to pick up a lot of points and hopefully we'll be in the play-offs come the end of the month'
